Name: Thin-leaved Mangrove / Waterfront Mangrove
Place of Origin: India, Ceylon, Southeast Asia, Pacific islands, Keelung (Taiwan), Hengchun coasts.
Characteristics: Powder-puff mangroves grow green leaves all year round. The wave-like leaves have a silky, smooth texture, and the flowers bloom from top to down. Each flower has four milk-white petals and pink stamens.
